Well there are just a few thing I want you all to be considerate of before we begin. First of all I want to remain anonymous so please do not ask me for e-mail or any other personal information. Secondly, considering the world is full of many different people with each thier own wonderful, unique opinions please realize that we will not always agree. I will try my best to help you as best to my abilities. This is all I can offer. If that's cool with you go right ahead. My inbox is waiting!
advice
does ne one know a song that's like
"I can see you"
...
"Summer of.."
that's all i really know of it. it's a guy rock band.
I think that song might be by the Ataris, called "The Boys of Summer". Here is the chorus so you can make sure:
I can see you-
Your brown skin shinin' in the sun
I see you walkin' real slow and you're smilin' at everyone
I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone
You can go to thier website: theataris.com and listen to that and many other songs on thier album. Hope this helps :)
hi every one......im Tripp...and im in a band...and we REALLY suck ass....we practice like every day and shit...but we still suck like really bad....so if u know n e thing else we could do....tell me.
Hey! Everyone gets inspired by different things. Not one is bad or good, they just are. If everyone in the band is just 'not feeling it' then maybe you should get together and name a few bands and groups that you like. Try to identify what type of sound you want. Once everyone agrees, figure out a way you can turn what you may see as a flaw into something artistic. For example, screaming is used in rock music a lot and some may view that as a flaw but it's artistic if used correctly anddone properly. Be proud of what you are doing. Music is about expressing yourself. Hope this helps. :)
I lost my voice about a month ago when I went to a singing camp. I had basically overused my voice. Usually I am asked to sing at weddings and such, so my voice is important to me as a way to earn money and express myself. However, after my voice came back after losing it, it has changed. It almost seems for airy, or not as strong. I feel like I forgot how to sing in a way. This has never happened before. I can still sing, but it wasn't as good as it was. Any suggestions on how to build my voice back up to its full potential?
First of all, don't strain and try to get plenty of rest. Also it might help to drink lots of water. You might even consider working with a vocal coach so that you can understand how your breathing works (with your diaphragm). If however you can't find time to go to vocal classes you can check out several websites for information: http://www.vocalist.org.uk/breathing_exercises.html
They might be of use. And the most important-trust yourself and don't stress out. If everything continues to get get worse, go to your doctor. Hope this helps :)
