There's this huge show next month at school, and I volunteered to sing Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel". I know I can do it, I'm already halfway there perfecting it, but I need some tips. Can anyone who knows much about this subject give me great tips? Mostly including tone, airflow, and lots of vibrato? Thanks in advance.

hey dearie! first off: break a leg!
now, try not to over exert yourself until the performances. don't drink or eat anything chocolate or with dairy in it. sugary things are bad as well. basicly, stick to water for a couple of hours before. after(or the days before), if your throat hurts take a spoonful of honey and eat it raw or put it in tea (another couple of things to avoid the day of your performance)
to loosen your palatte and tounge before, stick your thumb onto your palatte or under your chin while warming up. open your mouth while singin for better sound and tone.
