What does the song "Hello" by Evanesence mean? its sad but idk what shes singing about.
This song is about death from lead singer Amy Lee's view as a child. Her sister died when she was 6. It is about how you go on with your life and then one day you wake up and realize that you aren't really breathing. You're not alive. There's something in your head that's trying to wake you up but you just keep going on with your life instead. It's about how if you put on a happy face, everything will be okay and that it will all go away, but in the end you're only hiding the real you... you're living a lie. For example, living a life you hate but acting like you love it.
