see theres this guy at school and hes really hot...we never really talk but sometimes he shows interest in me and i know i have an interest in him, but we've never really actually talked, sometimes i feel like shy around him and my face gets a bit hot, so then i dnt want to talk to him with my face red...but like my bff she said she liked him a bit, but shes extremely shy...like when she likes a guy, she jus obsesses over him and freaks out everytime hes near, but she never really does anything...so ya i dont want to tell her i like him...because i kno this is all jus gonna come around and bite me in tha a$$...i really want to get to know him better even only as friends...how do i do that?!

14/m there is this girl who i kinda like. the problem is that she is out of my league. she is in all honors classes and im only in honors math and we're not in the same class. there is also this other guy that likes her (a friend of mine) and he has a better chance at going out with her than me cuz they are closer than she is with me. how can i get close to girls, so i'll have a better chance with them than other guys? Never think a girl is out of your league...because she may think your out of her league also...my advice is just go up and start a conversation with her about...well, anything...if you think she's smarter than you, ask for help with homework...if you are nice to girls and you never seem to get on their nerves, most girls will give you a chance...unless they're one of the stuck-up, think they're all that girls...and you don't want a girl like that because all they would do is end up using you...once you find a girl you really like..go up and talk to her..

sorry, this is kind of long but i really need help
Ok, im a thirteen year old girl. in 7th grade i was popular...but indeed a train wreck when it came to looks. now i have slimmed out alot, done my hair differently, my skin cleared up, and i guess i have fun grown up a whole lot more(body/face).and lately i have been noticing that guys have been a lot more flirty with me. they always liked my personality but now i think they actually see me as a woman. some of my guy freinds are always telling me how georgiouse i am. but anyway...our school resently split into 2 schools, one is across town now. alot of my freinds left, including this boy that i was freinds with. and i havnt seen him since this party i went to last weekend. before the school split, we were freinds and all, but i never really think he thought of me as a REALLY FUN girl that deserved more attention. anyway, at the party, he started REALLY to joke around with me and flirt(i think) and give me a lot of attention. plus he looks at me very differently. when i left he came over and made sure to say goodbye. i felt so special. What does this mean? Does he like me or just want to be freinds with me? personally, i think that attraction isnt the most important thing, and yet is is really important. if anyone could help me i would really appreciate it!!! thanks!! Sounds to me he likes you...maybe he always have but been to shy to admit it until now since he knows ya'll not going to be seeing each other that much anymore...if a guy jokes around with you in a friendly way all the time, that's a good sign...keep talking to him and see how it goes and if he still looking at you and joke around with you, maybe you should try to take the relationship a little further if you really like him...
