Hey guys,

So I recently decided on selling some of my art as a hobby on Etsy. I've been doing a lot of research on how to go about it. Obviously, I would like to turn a profit to supplement my income and also have a reason to pursue my hobby. First, I would love ANY advice from seller or buyers. Second, I was wondering if I should make a nice collection of my art before I upload it on the site and if so how many? (link)
I'm not sure how helpful this is, but my one comment is this: be sure to protect your uploaded content, assuming that we're talking about images of any kind - photos, drawings, paintings, etc.

People are going to want to clearly see what you're offering, but with Photoshop and other tools, you don't want to give away your work. (unless you want to give away your work.)

You can restrict the images from download, put a watermark on them, keep the size to a minimum, etc. Maybe all of that...

Best of luck to you!

Thanks. I haven't started anything yet because I want to be more informed.
