about
< I am a Christian and I am a mother >Hello all. I am a 36 year old married mother of three boys. I have my degree in Forensic psychology and business management- human resources, I work in social services while juggling my three children and a marriage. When I originally joined this community I was excited to get back into what I love and that is helping people through listening, understanding, and guidance. However I quickly found that through my desire to help others, others are helping me. I have found my advice column beyond rewarding. I have found myself getting extremely passionate about each and every question that I read and respond to. The more the questions the greater the connection I have found between people of all walks of life, ages groups, races, gender, and religion. What I have found to be our greatest bind is love. Love for others and the love of being loved.

i've suffered anxiety like this for a while, but it's been gone for a year and i think it may be coming back.. or i actually have a health problem. usually, (with my anxiety), when i feel an ache or pain i google it and psyche myself out. i am a hypochondriac, (or at least i used to be), and idk if i'm forming it again. I've been feeling great pressure in my chest (i'm 18 years old so i have no idea if a heart condition should be a concern), and i keep belching. the belching relieves the pressure for a minute and then it all comes back. i can feel the air or "pressure" release for a few seconds when i belch. yesterday, i made myself vomit because i was nauseous. does that have to do with this? i read a lot about this belching sensation with pressure having to do with acid reflex but i'm unsure. i am scared that this is something serious and i'm just "assuming" it is anxiety. but on the other hand, if it was thattt serious wouldn't i not have the energy to worry or go on advicenators? help me!
I too often google symptoms of mine or my children and can usually find a horrible illness that fits. I think most of us can and the more we do it the more worried we become. Honestly, it sounds like your constant stress and worry are causing your gastric issues. You might find that your problem will subside if you stay off the internet googling symptoms and just relax. You are getting yourself all worked up. I would suggest seeing a doctor very soon. You may have an illness that needs addressing. However, it really doesnt sound heart related as much as more a gastric issue. Gas can feel like a heart attack I've been told. I know when I was pregnant I had horrible chest pain due to heart burn and it was awful. Also, do you ever recall for example being crazy in love with someone who broke your heart? I know for me when that happened I couldnt sleep or eat and had terrible chest pain from the constant stress. I think you may be feeling something similar. But like I said, see a doctor and stop googling. Get out doors soak in some sun even if it's cold. Take a walk for some fresh air. Do some stretches, drink lots of water, talk with friends who make you laugh. I think you will feel better in a matter of hours. Your mind and body just need some rest and relaxation. Oh, and one more thing; if I didn't say it before STOP googling symptoms!
