i'm currently in high school and I've promised my self that this year i will study and will not leave my assignment till the due date and so far i have kept to me promise but when i get my projects and tests back my mark does not seem to improve. Also i have this friend that studies at the last minute and copies of my home work and notes and she gets better marks then me. what am i doing wrong? help please (link)

I have to be honest.. I was exactly like you.. Always having to promise myself to be more organised. And i had a friend that copied EVERYTHING..
I know it sounds cheesey but do the homework that night ... It does help and it gets easier.. Yeah that means less social life? But do a bit after and before dinner. Tell the friend you haven't done the homework then she wont be able to copy you..
It sound like your friend and you are in the same boat (Not being able to catch up) And i could never tell my friend "Stop copying me" but then what i did was just say " i can't find it" or " i haven't got it" or just be straight up with her YOLO... ahaha
Study hard and keep in mind all of these assignments (yeah they are a pain) but you need to do them for your later life !
