Is there anyway for businesses to use your social security number to go and find out how many times you have actually been fired? I used to lie and didn't have any problems, I decided to be honest and then they didn't hire me...There is no foul play or anything, just firings from little two bit jobs that aren't even on my resume. Well, I suggest being honest. You don't want them to hire you based on a lie... It's an immoral thing to do. Plus, if they decided to do a background check and call previous employers they would find out you were lying and wouldn't hire you/or they would fire you. Honesty is always the best policy :D

Thank you for your opinion, but honesty is not always the best policy. There are times when one must lie for survival and protection of others. Job Hunting...is Survival. How can they call previous employers that they don't know about (whether I was fired or quit)...can they find these things out...that is what I wanted to know. But thanks anyway.
