I've lived and worked overseas and every country has its quirks and its good points. The political discussion here in the U.S. is about the level of a bunch of squabbling eight year olds and the economy is for crap right now. But I still consider myself very, very lucky to have been born in California. What a wonderful place to grow up and live, at least for me.
