So there's this kid a year below me. He would stare if I walked by until he would have to walk backwards to keep looking. I never looked openly back, but he was so obvious about it that I could tell. Every time he saw me this happened. Without fail. In class, at an event, wherever. I know it was me he looked at 'cause a couple of times I accidentally made eye contact but was scared I didn't hold it for even a second.
The weird thing though? If I was up CLOSE to him, like standing by him and talking with a teacher, he completely didn't look in my direction at all, almost like he knew I was there but was ignoring me. That's how disinterested he was. He stares like a stalker at a distance, but ignores me up close, even flirts with girls in the area.
That kind of stuff.. What's it mean? I just saw him again for the first time in a few months and I admit it was a little strange that he still sought me out and stared (from a distance), but... Could it be he's just got a staring problem?
I've never spoken to him. He's kinda cute, I'm kinda not, so I don't wanna get my hopes up. Be honest please. :) I'm just asking here 'cause everywhere I look it says "Oh, guys look at gurls cuz they think u r priity." And I don't believe that's the case with me. (link)

Okay.. it feels like he might stare at you from far away because he has the chance too and doesnt think you will be looking because its from the distance and he doesnt up close because he will notice you OR it can be what the other person said.. it could be hes definatley wants to show you he is interested and looks at you from a far so many times and hes obviously into you and upclose just like me or anyone else when your up close to someone you dont look at them you look away but form far away it is different , plus if you see him flirting with others ,but looks at you... he obviously wants you to be jealous or he wants you to notice him... he obviously has something for you... you should say hi to him or something what is the big deal? if he does he will answer back either way you will know if he wants to talk to you or not

I'm just the shyest thing ever about boys, that's all! xD A long history of rejection has made me someone who can truly hide my feelings so well it's a HUGE shock for a guy if I tell him I like him.
I will say hi if I see him, thank you. :) A 'hi' is harmless.
