Do older teachers..(men).. like in there late 20's and up..fantasize about younger girls..like in the classes they teach?

I know this sounds odd ..but I was just wondering..since all the crimes about teachers seduce there students, the students seduce them..

Like, I've noticed to guy teacher's I know..make a lot of eye contact with me. I think it's just because they wanna make sure your listening, and that they really care about your learning..etc.

I was just wondering! Thanks! (link)
This REALLY depends on the situation.

Do all male teachers do this? Absolutely not.

The worst stories are the only ones ever talked about on the news, so it's easy to think its common to have a male teacher sexually harrass a younger student. This does happen, but not as often as you think. When it's the case of an older men making advances on a much younger girl (like from elementary school and up) then that person is disturbed and has a problem. If its a pervy teacher who makes advances to his high school students, obviously he has low moral standards and doesn't care too much about respect or his job.

At my high school, there was a case where a teacher just out of college fell in love with a high school senior. They actually started a relationship and he was suspended for a year. However, now they both teach at the same high school and are considered great teachers by many students.

But is that common? Not typically. Most schools will not be so understanding and it is easy for a young teacher to end his career before it has even started. I've had many fresh out of college teachers and student teachers and none have ever made innapropiate advances to me or other girls in the class.

What I'm trying to say is, if the teachers who fantasize about their students, the majority of them will not let that be known. Once that line is crossed it can destroy reputations, careers, and emotionally damage people. Think about it this way, your school probably has a cute teacher that all the girls talk about, but none of you would ever ask him out on a date or try something with him. A teacher may see a cute girl and be attracted to her, but he won't do anything about it.

And btw, you're right about the eye contact. Its a technique used to help the students focus.

Good luck,

-Abby
