thankyou so much
but where/how do i start? i live in a tiny city that holds no auditions, i feel trapped. and unable to do what i want to do. I really want to do acting and make it in the business, and im not getting younger and everyones telling me to be "realistic" and that its impossible..is it true? am i too old to become an actress? I honestly am not sure how you would actually go about it. All I CAN say is that you shouldn't allow yourself to be dissuaded by lack of support.
You clearly know what you want, and are working hard to make it happen. Age doesn't limit us - we limit ourselves by being hesitant to take a chance.
I Googled "how to break into acting" and got a number of relevant hits. It looks as though you'll find what you need on those sites.
As long as you believe in yourself, and from what you've written, you have every reason to, there is nothing to hold you back. There may be bumps in the road, the good stuff is never easy, but just 'keep on truckin' and you'll realize your dream.
