ok so I'm 13 and have eczema. It comes and goes, as it does for those who have it. But obviously it doesnt just happen out of the blue, SOMETHING IS TRIGGERING MY SKIN TO REACT. I have very sensitive skin. And so when i was a baby i was diagnosed with eczema. I had it on my scalp, face, and hands, neck, behind knees, and the inside of elbows. Thank god i dont have it on the scalp, hands, and i barely have any on my my face. I have a little on my neck, and a little on the back of knees. My inside of elbows are excruciating. they are red, ooze, ithcy, etc, and has a white background around it. I just got the eczema over the summer. So i dont like to show my inside elbows, their gross. My mom refuses to take me to a allergist to get tested, she thinks it could be anything. So I've been trying all the anti-itch lotions and such, let me tell you it "works" for like 2 days and stops. It moisturize but doesn't heal the red patches of skin. And i also don't want to use dermatologist creams, because they make your skin leathery looking and contain steroids. So....no.Also over the summer i had terrible rash on my face, it was caused by my nail polish, i had gotten wrinkles and puffiness. Then i removedcit and WALLLLA! it went down! but now i know the reast is eczema! All i want to know what could be possibly casuing it? I've been nder LOTs stress, and we let our grass grow out, and im thinking maybe something like that is causing it? or the humidity? And when i was a baby they said it was wheat... but i've been eating wheat for a long time...i guess it wore off..or maybe not? SHOULD I TEST THESE SYMPTOMS OUT, TO PREVENT FURTHER DISCOMFORT? WHAT COULD IT BE? WHAT SHOULD I DOOOO?NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS...FAST! PLEASE ANYONE WHO'S HAD THIS PLEASE TELL ME. THANK YOU GUYS SOOOOO MUCH! ♥♥♥♥♥

I was diagnosed with eczema to like around april and i get the rash throught out my legs and arms. This has happened to me scince i was in 5th grade and i am now 18. It itches like crazy gets swollen and red and looks terrible. The more i scratch the more it spreads. And on top of that it gets worst and worst every time i get it, which is 3 months or so apart. I went to the doctor two weeks ago because it got pretty bad and now they arn't sure if its eczema or not anymore. Im pretty frustrated myself. I Dont Know if my problem is the same as yours, but My mom bought me Caladryl Lotion, its a pink bottle, and it helped me with the itchyness and puffiness right now the rash looks like bruces but my mom says to keep putting on and so that i dont get marked and it wont stay,. Im not sure if it'll work for you but so far its working for me. if your not sure maybe you can ask your pediatrician if you can use it. Good luck

(Rating: 5) thanx for the support. I know its kind of difficult to deal with this skin disorder emotionally and physically but....what can we do? Right? I'm trying not to lose myself over this problem, i think i get it every 5 yrs, when i turn 18 i get it again, most likely! Ekkkk! but anyway i did a process of elimination and tested out what was causing my skin to flare-up. it was wheat! i was allergic to that when i was a baby, but then outgrew, so it probably came back to bite me in the ass. lol hope this helps XOXOXOX
