I recently found out a friend I have has genital warts. I have tried to look up information on it but the internet has so muc info that I cant find the answer I am looking for. All I want to know is how contagious is it? Like can you only get it if you have sex or can you get it from just touching? I am in NO way sexually active with this guy. I'm worried cuz I hug him a lot. Like what if he touched his dick and doesnt wash his hands then touches my hand or skin. I really dont want to get it so I'm just curious if its possible to get it from him even if I dont do anything sexual with him. (link)
