Alright. I am a 16 year old girl as is my best friend but he is a boy. We are juniors and we have been friends since we were 7ish/8ish. He's the best. Girls at my school only start drama with everyone and they don't keep secrets. I feel with this boy, that all of my secrets are safe and he can solve all of my problems and he starts no drama at all because he is very shy which is suuuuch a plus! We text all the time, during that time we talk about random things from what we're doing to like what we want to be in life. Usually he is the first one to end the conversation, when I end it, I don't think he likes that because when I say I have to go or I'm being called down for dinner he just says "oh.. ok. cya then." I like to party, not gonna lie. I usually have my certain party friends and my other just chillin watching a movie friends. My partying friends and I, we like to drink. Now, every time I text him, he is usually at a party or with some friends so I let him go have his fun. When I'm at a party and we are texting, I tell him what he's doing and he asks whose party it is or where I'm at. He suffers with low self esteem because of his older brother. People put my friend through a lot because supposedly his brother is "perfect" and my friend doesn't come close and people actually tell them that. So, I always tell him things like I'm your friend, not his. He's ugly. I think you're way better. Just to boost his self esteem. He's always there for me. I went through a time where my "friend" called me all of this terrible stuff and it made me cry my eyes out and he said that I am nothing like that. She's wrong and she's just jealous of me. Immediately after saying that, I smiled. He just.. makes everything better. He wears a bracelet that was once mine and he stole it from me. He can't sing for me when he can sing for everyone else and there mom's, haha. I give him snacks after practice for school everyday. As close as I just described we are, we've never hung out outside of school, your probably thinking 'wow, two best friends that never hung out before' I know right, but he has his gang outside of school and I have mine. We were supposed to hang out and he bailed because he has something to do with his family and he said he will definately see me the day he comes back unless for some God forsaken reason he can't. It just makes me mad that he would bail for the stupid reason he gave me.

I'm 90% sure he likes you if he stole a bracelet from you that has to mean something to him he probablly likes you alot considering he has to know every detail and seems upset when you end a conversation. I have a friend with bad self esteem too, it's really hard for them you're a good friend. He's probablly just too shy to sing to you because you're special. Even though he cancels he probablly gets nervous or scared. Boys are really weird have a boy that I like and he knows I like him and he used to like me and he knew that I liked him and he never asked me out so mine's pretty shy too! I know how you feel ha ha! Shy guys are the hardest it means you're very special to him. Trust me I know my boy he calls all other girls hot and says I'm not hot to him but in his contacts in his email he has me listed as HOT, kiba lol and nobody else. He's asked out plenty of other girls before even though he knows I like him he won't ask me out. He's afraid to hang out with me but once he does it's fine. We're very close and other people who he's close to they've all concluded he's really shy about certain things even though my best friend thinks not (who's also been best friends with him longer than i have) I'm guessing I'm very special to him so believe me when I say I KNOW what you mean! :3
