I didnt go to harvard. I didnt paint the monalisa(i didnt even spell that right...). I wont be a valedictorian and I've never saved a life. But i understand things... I see how they work. I'm a deep thinker, ill ponder things alot. Mostly people, and life and all the phillisophical types of things...
But im more than just that. I'm a teenage girl. A student. A friend. A lover. An athlete. A writer. A party girl and someones who wants to give advice and help others.

I am not anorexic. I eat whenever I'm hungry and I eat until I feel full. I even eat snacks in between meals. I think my parents mostly have issues with my portion sizes and my choice to eat tofu meals. I eat small portions because eating too much makes me feel uncomfortable.

I want to be vegan when I move out (I've done my research) so I've been trying to cook my own meals with tofu lately. My parents make me eat fish and chicken whenever they make it because for some reason they have this idea that I can't possibly survive on a vegan diet. But I'm fine with that; I'll just wait until I graduate.

But my mom constantly, constantly, CONSTANTLY reminds me to eat. Actually it's more of a nagging voice. I'm really defensive about it too, which is why I called her out on it this morning. Needless to say she accused me of anorexia.

I don't know how to convince these people that I'm not anorexic. My mother's entire family is on the larger side (but she takes care of her figure) but my father and brother are super thin. I also have tiny little breasts and wear a tube bra because padded bras feel fake and I obviously don't need the support. Ever since I started wearing this tube bra it seems like my breasts look smaller which only heightens my "anorexic" appearance. I've actually gotten comments and stares from my relatives. Meh, it's not my fault my breasts won't grow and quite frankly I like them this way. It seems like everyone else is way more concerned about my breast size than I am.

PS: I'm 5'4, 110-115 lbs, and my bra size is 34A-quite different than my mom's size D.

Any advice?

Thanks guys :). (link)
Dont blame your parents for being concerned, they are just worried that you arn't eating enough in general.

Yes, you can say that you are full and only eat when your hungry, but usually only eating until your full isnt enough. It doesnt give you enough protein or energy for your body to run on.

This is one reason that your breasts are small. Your body probably doesnt have enough fat to grow larger breasts, thus giving you an anorexic apperance. But good for you, for not being picky about breast size and wearing push up bra's like the rest of the world.

As for being a vegan, thats fine. Its your choice, and you obviously make those choices due to your personal preferance. Make sure you let your parents know that its your body and you get to choose what types of food to put into it.

You are a normal weight for your age, so there really is no reason for your mother to nag you about eating habits.

But maybe, to satisfy your parents a little bit, eat things that give your body the nutritions it needs to grow and stay stable in health. Thats the part that is worrying your parents now. They think your not allowing yourself to be open to vitamins(because i know tofu doesnt have much to it...)

So I'd talk to your parents about your healthy weight, reason for wanting to be vegan, ad reason for having small breasts. They are just worried because they dont know whats going on, but once you tell them, they will eventually come around.

good luck!

Thank you. You're right I shouldn't blame them but it just annoys me sometimes :/. I'm thinking it would be good to take a multivitamin to sort out the nutrient issues. And I'll talk to them and eat what they feed me ha (except red meat ;) Thanks! :)
