Ok, so i'm 15 and I just started my period about 4 months ago? lately i've been using pads because i'm waaaaay to scared to use a tampon.
But, pads are really starting to get on my nerves i'm constantly having to check to make sure I didn't bleed through, and they're really uncomfortable I feel like i'm a diaper.
soo here's my question, i've never had sex and i'm really tight so will putting in a tampon hurt for me? (link)

I was definitely scared the first time I used one too. The first time I tried to put it in, I didn't do it at the right angle and I used a cardboard one and it was somewhat uncomfortable, but I wouldn't say it hurt. My advice would be to make sure and get tampons with plastic inserters, not cardboard. So much easier to put in. I like playtex pearl tampons. Start with the smallest size if you're scared.
Also, make sure you angle the tampon upwards, not straight in. Read the directions that come with the box, they're actually really helpful!
Don't forget, you should only keep a tampon in for 4-8 hours. Longer than that could result in toxic shock. Also, don't take out the tampon if it's dry and hasnt soaked much up yet. That is also pretty uncomfortable.

Thanks!
Yeah, i'm scared of inserting it wrong or something. Plus i've heard from sooo many people that they're uncomfortable and then i've heard from other people you can't even feel it? I guess everybody's body is different.
But anyways, Thanks for the advice I will definately try what you suggested :)
