I am fifteen. Approximately 140 on the dot. I need good workout routines that work. I'd like to stay away from running because I don't have a good endurance for that kinda thing and crunches just don't work. I want to have a float stomach for the summer, I know this is kinda short notice to get actual good results but I need help. I feel like I'm over weight, I don't know if I actually am but I want to be proud of my body. So please, workout routines, moves and such, tell me how long it took for good results, how much weight you lost and all that good stuff. Thanks! (link)
First off, use this to see if you actually need to lose weight:

To lose weight you need cardio. So you don't neccesarily have to run but you need to get moving and get your heart rate up. Try dancing, pilates, yoga, walking, biking, etc. The more you move the better. Get a pedometer and make a goal for how many steps each day.
Strengthening your muscles helps you lose weight by increasing your metabolism and burning fat, so try to hit the gym if you can and use the machines. If you can't, get dumbells or even use milk jugs. You can also use resistance bands and do exercises like squats, lunges, push ups, planks, etc. Go on youtube and search workout videos, there are lots of free resources you can use.

Diet is also super important, so eat healthy. Try to cut things out of your diet that are unhealthy little by little and drink lots of water. You're 15 so losing weight shouldn't be that hard.

Don't focus so much on the number of your weight, but focus on how you feel. If exercising and eating right makes your body feel great then keep it up. Don't push yourself too hard. You're only 15, many times when girls go thru puberty they lose some of that baby weight.

Good luck,

-Abby
