advice
I have a question for anyone that might know, preferably somebody who knows from experience. How much does it cost to get an ambulance to come pick you up? Will the people who run the ambulance be able to help me or do they need to take me to the hospital? I guess overall what I really need to know just in case it is how much does an ambulance ride cost? Does it vary or is there pretty much a set price? I have been having some problems but I don't know if I can afford to go. Can anybody help me?
You need to look up medical transport online in your zip code and surrouding areas. Let them know where you live and when you need to be taken. It is a common issue and easily solved by getting your answers in advance.
I do know that when you call the ambulance, they will take you directly to the ER (inside) and you get priority placement, because you came with a medical transition team of EMTs or Paramedics.
I won't kid you, ambulances can cost a pretty penny, so I am thinking a medical transport in a non-emergency situation will be able to accomodate many of your needs.
Good luck and let me know what happens.
Thanks
Susie
(Rating: 5) Thank you for your answer! What I found out is that when you need emergency transportation, it doesn't matter what it costs! I waited too long and had to be life flighted to the hospital. My mom said I was being penny wise and pound foolish whatever that means.
