Q: Okay, So I had that Trojan or whatever of the 2010 Windows Scan, shut my whole computer down. I got that fixed and I use Windows XP, Windows Defender and SuperAntiSpyware. Well, now that I got rid of that big virus my computers still acting weird. Now everytime I go to look something up in Google, I'll click on the link and it will send me to a WHOLE different web address and I'll have to re look it up and re click the link sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries. Why is this doing it? And it there anyway to get rid of it? I have run both of my spyware programs. The windows defender is set to automatically check but since I have the free version of SuperAntiSpyware it isn't possible.
Thank you. =]
This happened to me. That virus messed up my entire computer. The only way I was able to get around the Google redirect crap was to copy the link and paste it into the browser ):

I used MalwareBytes to kill the 2010 thing, but even after that, viruses kept pouring in. I got a free trial of Kaspersky, and it kept detecting virus after virus.

It didn't completely go away until I reinstalled Windows. ):

Yeahh, we ended up reinstalling Windows. Thanks! =]
