Hello. I don't claim to be a specialist and I don't claim to know what I'm talking about--unless I do. I'm not going to fill your head with a bunch of bull just becuase I don't know what I'm talking about, I will refer you to someone else. Feel free to contact me by messenger, i'm usually logged onto them via cell phone but will hop on a computer if possible. Anything else, ask

An easy way to make the air less dry is get a humidifier. They sell them at places like Wal*Mart and Walgreens. They usually range from $15 and up.
There are warm air humidifiers and cold air humidifiers. The only real difference is the warm air humidifiers produce a steam that is released into the air so the air can take in the water particles. I actually own both kinds and find that both work very well. If you have allergies I also recommend getting one with a filter since it will filter the water and the air that is passing through it.
Another way you can make the air more humid is to take an open container, like a bucket, and fill it with water and place it near your heat vent in your room. It works the best in a place where it will be heated to evaporation. As the water in the bucket evaporates it will put more moisture into the air. It works really well if you put the bucket right on top of your heat vent but some people don't like to do that since it does block some of the warm air that comes from the vent.
I hope these suggestions help!
