I'm going to Italy for spring break with my art class next year and I was wondering about the a ge restrictions are for tattoos and such over there.
Do you have to have parent permission to get a tattoo if you're under 18? (I'll be 16 then) and where is a good place that you can hide it easily?
(I want a very small and simple Ankh. It's kind of like a cross. Look it up on google)
also, does it go the same way for nose piercing?
Thanks. (link)

I did a little bit of research and didn't get a clear answer about Italy, but I would assume you need to be 18. I wouldn't reccommend getting it at any place in Italy, you want a place you can trust and have researched before and preferably you are refered to.
You could get it on the inside of your foot, on your pelvic area or right above or below where a bikini bottom would cover, on your hip, behind your ear or on your lower back. You could consider a white ink tattoo, they are very subtle and not very noticeable.
The law is probably 18 with a piercing but you can usually bring someone older with you that doesn't have to be your parent or even related. So if you have someone over 21 on your trip you should be fine.
Remember, if the place looks dirty and their needles aren't sterilized in front of you or opened from new packages, don't get anything done. It isn't safe.
Good luck,
-Abby
