im 16/f and my boyfriend is 18/m. We have been dating for a little over one and a half years and honestly our relationship is really special. I know im in love with him, this isnt some little high school thing and we both could seriously see ourselves getting married in the future, but we havent seriously talked about it, just a few thoughts we had. So, about a month before the one year anniversary, he asked my mom what my ring size was. She didnt tell me, but when i saw her take my ring out of my room, bc she didnt know the size, i asked her and then she told me chris askd for it. so i thought he was going to give me a promise ring, you know? so hes had my ring since then, and i forgot about it for a little while until i was looking through the pictures and saw me wearing the ring. I really dont want to bring it up, but i was just asking on what you think of the matter. Why would he ask for my ring size if hes not planning on giving me a ring? and if he did get me the ring, why hasnt he given it to me? do you think hes having second thoughts or something? I know hes not using me, im planning on waiting until marriage for sex, nad we talked about it and hes fine with that. He is definitely not cheating on me, and we see each other almost every night and i see him in school every day. I just dont know what to think about this. If I had my guess, I'd say that he is getting you a ring but he wants it to be a total surprise, so who knows, he could give it to you for christmas, or he might be planning on proposing when you turn 18.
either way, I don't think he forgot or changed his mind, he's just thinking in advance:]

i dont think hed ask for the ring 2 years in advance though. hmm thank you though! its an exciting thought =]
