Hi,my name is jennifer and I am 23 years old. My husband n I just got temp custody of his neice which is a month old we have had her now for one week. His sister had dhs called on her so we took the baby. They have only been here one time to see her for like 20 or 30 min brought her some things. They are not showin any effort to get there child back. I dont want to take the baby from them for good but they are not compilyin with what the judge said to do. They are just takin there time. We have a three year old and a one year old of our own. We love the baby so much. they had her just so mest up like tryin to feed her chettos. They feed her so much rice that now she has a hernia in her belly button from tryin to go to the bath room and not being able to. What should I do try to contiue to help them or just stop tryin???? Any adive will be apperciated (link)

It sounds to me like the babies parents arent able to take care of their child. However I can understand that you dont want to take the baby away from them. You should try talking to them tell them that if they really do want the baby they need to start complying with the judges orders. If they do make the effort great! However it doesnt really sound like they will so dont send the baby back into an unsafe environment and parents that dont care enough to do what ever it takes to get her back.
I hope that everything works out for the best...weather that be your niece going back to her parents or staying with you.

thank you yeah i know i have no intentions of sending her back with them unless they do what they say they are going to do. But also its a lot to take on with three children i just wish she would do what she is supposed to do but i dont think she is going to. So she will be fine here but i do not attend to help them out anymore sence thy are not helping themselves
