Just be sure that you aren't getting yourself confused with the meaning love here..
Everyone loves their best friend, some tend to fall in love their best friends and some just have the friendship love.
Sounds like you could have a crush on your best friend but think why that could be.. Do you enjoy his company? His sense of humor? His charm? Or is it because you feel comfortable around him like the only thing thats missing is the affection of a couple would usually share?
You can't love someone because you think they are cute and smart.. how do you know this kid is smart? You may think you love him but what do you know about him? What's his favourite colour? What's his favourite soft drink? Can you answer all those sorts of questions about this guy?? I bet you can if it was your best friend.
At the end of they day its not anyone elses choice but yours and you need to decide on whats best for you!!
