I'm taking a beginner's piano class in school, and I'd really like to buy a keyboard so I can practice outside of class and continue with it once the semester is over.
My problem is, I have no clue where to look! Anybody know any reasonably priced keyboards or brands that are good for beginners that I can try? :) (link)

The first one I started playing on was a Casio(LK-42). I actually still use it sometimes, its fun and easy to use. The only problem is it is a little small, so if you wanted to use lower notes you'd have to improvise. Yamaha's are great ones, I have a PSR-GX76 ; which is a lot bigger than the Casio. I would get a Yamaha though, even if it might not be beginner-just so you won't have to buy another keyboard for when you get better. All kinds will be easy to use, once you learn anyhow :). You can buy keyboards at musiciansfriend.com.Some are expensive, I just checked the Yamaha's and they're a pretty penny, but if you take piano seriously in my opinion its one of the best ones to get !
