advice

so i am going to start applying to colleges this fall and i have a few in mind. one is across the country. i live on the east coast and want to go to the west coast. i'm really nervous to do it though. i really want to be in the entertainment business and i feel that being closer to L.A. while i go to college would help me out.

do you think i should do it? im worried that i wont make friends because i havent made a new friend since middle school. please advise me lol

if friends is what you're worried about, you just need to get past that. if being in the entertainment business is what you are sure that you want and you're willing to make that huge moving sacrifice, then great! go for it. i mean, in college theres so much more diversity. so many different people. you're bound to meet someone who you enjoy, and have similar interests with. and even if you don't, who cares? because you're there for your DREAM. and yes, perhaps friends make the journey a bit more fun... but its just things that you have to toggle through in your mind. what your willing to sacrifice and what your not. a move is always hard. and a move across the country is definitely going to take some getting use to. but i think if its something you truly truly want, then maybe it's something you should consider.
