Q: I've been in love with the same boy for nearly a year. During June, he said he felt the same way and we began talking a lot. He confessed that he really did love me and everything was going fine. He asked me out a week before today and I thought that it was set that we'd have a mostly lasting relationship. It's only been a week and now he says he's lost interest in me and feels that he doesn't have to try anymore. He claims that he only likes me and no longer loves me. :/ I, unfortunately, cannot get over someone that quickly. I asked him how it was possible that someone could just drastically un-love someone that way and he replied with, "Maybe it's the people that judge me." I asked him to elaborate, but he said he didn't know what he meant. Anyone think they can help? How do I get him 'interested' again? It's hard because I'm fourteen and unable to drive, but he lives an hour away from me. I really don't want to lose him for I'm afraid that I won't be able to move on from the heartbreak. Please help. :/

It's possible what he was feeling (maybe you too) is infatuation (the step before love as they say). Obviously, it was not love if he could easily "lose" the love that fast. I don't know why he said he feel's like he doesn't need to try anymore? I guess he just like the "chase" of girls. No normal person would lose love that fast. I know it's hard to get over someone fast..but this guy isn't worth it. When he said "Maybe it's the people that judge me"..that makes no sense what so ever..he just wanted an excuse for it. If this guy lost interest already..there's nothing you can really do. I would find someone better and not someone like this guy. He obviously likes to play games. Find someone better. If you really want him THAT bad..try talking to him, ask him repeatingly why he lost interest and doesnt "love" you anymore. If he doesn't answer or tries to give an excuse again..he's not worth anything. Please re-think this guy. He's already showing bad signs about himself.

Thanks, I've asked many people this and they've all answered the same. I thought they could've been saying the things they said because they were close friends, so I needed a new person and I've already considered droppping this douchebag, even though he means the world to me. Your advice just completely helped me see how stupid I am for still wanting him.
