Hey!!

I'm Lollipop. I'm 15, but I know more than you would think. I've had my share of crap, and now I'm here to answer questions. I orginally joined this site to GET advice, but I've found that I answer more questions than I ask. I have also found that I relate to almost every love life question. Let's just say I had a tough year... So, that's my area of expertise. The one thing that bugs me the most on this site are when people say you're too young to feel what you feel. Screw that. I don't think it matters if you're 15 or 51, you know what you feel. I don't know much about sex because I believe in waiting until marriage, but I know what it's like to be pressured. Ask me something, and I will give you an answer.

How do you tell a friend she is involved in an emotional affair? She is involved emotionally with the husband of my good friend and used to be her good friend. She's confused as to why the wife has put so much distance between her. She doesn't get it. There's so much denial as to the depth of her involvement with the husband. Everytime I go there with her, she gets angry at me and I don't know if a friendship can be salvaged between her and I. Help!! any advice is appreciated (link)
Dear 'Emotional Affair'

I agree with the other poster. You can't do anything else. You have chosen to tell her and she has chosen not to listen to you. You can't force her out of denial. All you can do is wait until she comes to terms and be there for her to support her and not say "I told you so". Past that, you really just have to drop it babe. It is apparently hurting your relationship and it is really isn't any of your business, it's between your friend and the wife and husband. So really hun, you just got to stay out of it.

Goodluck!

Thanks for the post. I have come to realize that their relationship is not my business. I either forge ahead with a friendship or walk away
