could be real easy to answer this one but define it for me :P
I think i have an idea of how you know. is it when you catch them looking at you and they look away instantly? or if you catch them and they look for a a second or so then look away with the same blank expression you caught them with to try and hide it a bit.
am i right? kus theres been a few incidence's like that around college in the past couple of weeks and i think iv only just figured out what went on.
it really depends on the girl.
like when i check out a guy I look at him until he looks at me back and then look for another 2 seconds and then smile and look at the ground so he'll know i like him . i dont really look away with a blank expression unless i'm really nervous and too afraid to smile. but maybe shes just shy and doesnt want you to know she fancies you because she's not sure if you fancy her back.
when i feel really confident i just smile straight on without looking away shyly lOl.
but yeaah i do think that the way you discribed it that she was checking you out. especially if it's been going on for a while. you could just try smiling at her and see what happens. (:
