about

I'm keeping pretty much all detail secret, but here's what I will tell you.

Before I found this site a had given advice many, many times. I am proud to say that some of my advice has changed lives, and even saved them. I decided that I wanted to do more, to help change the world any way I could.

So I went searching for advice-giving online communities, and I found this.

advice

So, I have a "Elliptical Cross-Trainer" at home, and I was thinking, if I use it every day, for 15-20 minutes, will that help me lose weight, or just build muscle?
Also, I'm going to stop snacking and eating fast food, and giving up energy drinks + sodas.
I've been drinking a litre of water a day for the past few weeks, will that help me lose weight as well?

Basically, I'm not obese, and my BMI is average, but I'm chubby, I only need to lose about 5-8Kgs.

Thanks :)

Just remember, if you're average you'll gain weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. A lot more. You could stand on one of those weight-monitors at the mall and have it say you're obese when you're actually all muscle.
If you want to get into shape you're on your way. But you'll need to do more than use one piece of gym equipment to do it. Do some push-ups (hands shoulder-width apart, back straight, on your toes), sit-ups(hands behind your head is bad for your back and spine though) and pull-ups. If you don't have anything to do pull-ups, buy an Iron Gym or Iron Gym Extreme at your local Olympia Sports. They're cheap, easy to assemble, and you just set it in your doorway.
