Okay so I been talking to this really cute guy, I'm really starting to like him. Like his really nice and we talk on the phone like all the time, but the problem is I guess you can say his been know to be a player and none of my friends want me to go out with him, but he I asked him if we were to date will he cheat on me or anything and he said "No, because I know how much im really starting to hurt girls who really like me when I do that." thats what he told me plus my parents know his parents pretty good so I don't know if he'll do anything like that, but now also I guess his the kind of guy that you have t watch out on him trying to make " the moves" on you, but I know how to handle my self. So do you think I should give this guy a chance and see how it goes? And if that's a yes, how do I tell my friend's that im going out with him? XOXO, someone [: (link)

I think that if you do proceed with this relationship, then you should do so with your eyes wide open. You already know that he has a reputation and you already know that you will be getting flack from your friends. So there are the cons to this, but you need to be thinking about the pros also. I believe that people can change, now whether he can or not, I can't say. You sound like a smart girl that already knows all the bad about him and still like him. So yes, maybe give him the chance, but be totally prepared for heartache should it come to that. That is the only way to be involved in a relationship, even if you knew nothing about the guy before hand. Good luck to you.
