Okay so here is the thing, I have had a crush on the same boy for over two YEARS... And well Im kind of thinking that is a little pathetic...
Here is some background info. It was a completely innocent crush for the first yearish part. He is super cute, he didnt know me at all, you know the deal... But then we really got to know eachother. I opened up to him more than I ever thought I could. That was in the summer. We continued to be close throughout the year but we have never been able to act on it. He says he likes me but he can't date until he is 16 (he is 14 now) and what do I do? I mean I really like him but I can't just wait around for ANOTHER two years, nor does he expect me to, but I just can't see myself liking anyone else. Boys will hit on me and ask for my number and stuff but I am just not interested.
My friends agree that this is pathetic, but what am I supposed to do? He likes me, I like him, I can't and frankly I don't want to move on but I know I need to... Ugh, any advice? (link)

You said it all,
If you willing to wait for another 2 years? Then the advices is wait for another 2 years! Which seriously might be a problem,
well you see the guy might even loose interest in you, because i mean 2 years WOW it's a lot to wait.
But there is always a second option, get over him
like someone else, go out there and find yourself a hot boyfriend.
Because seriously i don't believe in "i can't date because of my parents" THATS BULLSHIT
He can just date you behind his parents and then when he's 16 he can tell his parents no biggy.
So if you want the truth something isn't right here and it's not worth risking another 2 years.
So by time you'll get over him and like someone who likes you as much in return.

Thank you. But see, he is Mormon so it is kind of his religion that he cannot date until he is sixteen. Just as I know he would never ask me to give up some of my catholic beliefs for him, I would never ask him to give up his beliefs for me just because they aren't what I am used to. But the rest of your advice was really good. Thanks again!!
