well to start off there is this guy named Jay and he and i were always together, dating constantly but never really official, we didnt make it official bc he was moving to another country, weird i know but we kept in touch alot in the begining of his move kept up with birthdays and holidays then a month pass by and no talking happend. :( well then my birthday comes and he calls me i was extremely over whelmed with my feelings for him and and started to cry again over him. well then two to three weeks later which leads to now he calls only bc he misses me and wants to talk to me. he gets all i miss you, i need you, flirty, remembering the past of us. im really trying to get over him. and he is the one that said its okay to seee other people and move on already. im trying to move on, there is this guy named Adam and i've known him before Jay and well i started to like him and he likes me back, and Jay saw us talking over myspace and asked what was going on between us? i told him that he was just a frined, did i do that bc i still have feelings for him? should i have said that we are talking? i like both of them the same i think. and well i dont think im in love with Jay anymore, he broke my heart. I did something that i rereted with this guy, i think i only did that bc i needed someone to love me, since i thought Jay doesnt love me, he comes back when im happy and moving on and when i need him he isnt there. so anyways is he just messing with me bc he hasnt found a girl in his new location? and he knows im always going to be there? well im clueless on what to do i like both Adam and Jay the same but one i loved with great emotions and the other one is like a best friend i can settle down with.
any suggestions?

I knew a guy JUST like Jay. He's holding onto you for security reasons. He's keeping you around because he know's you'll be there for him when you need him. But when the tables are turned he's out of the picture. I suggest you move on from him and cut out most of your contact with him. Try just talking to him trough email once a week so you dont lose touch with him. This show's him that you're moving on and don't need him anymore. Showing him that you need him makes him see you as weak and you're not weak - you're strong. Give the other guy a chance. It won't be easy but once you have lost all feeling for him, you'll feel a big sense of relief and happiness. It will make you more confident and independent. Good Luck!
