i don't know why but i don't really have any guy friends. i'm 17 (female) and guys barely talk to me. when they do i'm not really shy or anything but the guys i hang around just never have anything to talk about so our conversations are brief. i dont really have a crush on anyone but i do find some guys at my school attractive/i would hook up with them but i don't know how that would ever happen. i dont feel like any guy would ever want to hook up with me... but i don't know why. i'm pretty "normal," not ugly or anything, in shape, good sense of humor, and i have a pretty wide circle of friends. i'm nice to everyone and i don't talk badly of anyone... im not clingy to guys either. i really need help, im woried about even getting a prom date! You just really have to put yourself out there, don't be afraid to talk to people. Don't be the annoying girl who randomly talks to people..cause that can be annoying. But when those guys do talk to you..sweep them into your conversation. Find ways to make it last longer. Just act like your talking to one of your friends. Don't be afraid to ask the guys around you in class questions or laugh with them or something. All you have to do is put yourself out there. Don't expect to find a guy overnight though, just start with making friends with guys. I am actually quiet in class..but i always find something to talk about to the people around me. Whether its asking them about the assignments or making a comment on how boring and long the class is...just something.Because i talk with the people around me, i'm not considered quiet in my class. And people feel they can turn and talk to me whenever they want. Just remember to be nice and open to any conversation. Just try making friends. Don't give up!! It will happen for you =)
Also, what about your girlfriends? Do they have guys or guy friends that they can set you up with? Or at least hang out with. You can easily make guy friends that way.
