I want to start getting into photography because I got my own camera for Christmas. Can you give me some tips so I can take good pictures and show them off to people!? (=D)

If you see something that to you is absolutly (sp?) stunning and beautiful. Take that picture.
Such as a firework exploding in air, it's magnificent and easy which is good practice.
