I am 16 and my boyfriend and I have been dating for a few months now. The other day, he invited me over to spend Christmas Eve with him and his family. I've met them before, but never actually sat down and had a meal with them or anything, so I'm pretty nervous.

Any advice/tips on how to make a good impression? =] (link)
Tips/Adivce:

1. Dress nicely is the first step. You don't want to dress up too nice but not too casually. Dressing up too nicely looks like your trying to suck up...not trying to make it rude or anything. Or dressing up to casually seems like you don't care. Appearance is what they first see.
2. Try to be interesting. If they ask you about school, go into dept a little. They probably want to know what your aspirations are and what your plans for college is and such. Don't reply, "Good" and let the conversation drag. Try to keep it flowing but not make you talk the whole time.
3. Don't be tense! It will you feel more incomfortable. Try to make it feel like his parents are family and your just at a family dinner.
