i am a female and i'm 16 yrs old
ok, so this has been happening for about i don't know may be a year or so, maybe longer and i htought it would go away but it hasn't. My problem is when i go to the bathroom, i pee and i make sure i wipe myself completly and then i get up and walk around and stuff and it feels like i am like leaking. so when i go back in the bathroom, my underwear is wet i guess you could say and it has a werid smell to it. i can smeel it when i pull my pants down. its just weird because i feel like i'm all wet down there and i don't know waht is going on. its just all wet and it leaks out of me. it happens all day long constantly so there really isn't a time when it doesn't do this, probally when i'm on my period but idk, i can't really tell. THis has been happening ot me for a while now and i just wnat ot know what the problem is or whats going on. so please help, thanks

it is completely normal, it happens to most girls. it's just discharge, it feels like you arent done peeing, or that when you have to pee some is leaking out, but its not pee at all.

its just your uterus cleaning out the vaginal area, the discharge is mainly skin cells, bacteria, and other secretions from the cervix. it may be a little bit white and sticky, and thats completely normal. if youre worried about it that much, you could try wearing a liner because it also contains the smell if there is one.

this discharge is just keeping your vaginal area clean, on the inside. it prevents bacteria from causing any problems.

if yours gets really bad, or you just dont want it, people have tried cleaning out the area with a douche, because just washing it with soap wont clean out the inside.

just remember, its completely normal and theres nothing to worry about, every girl has the same thoughts as you and thinks it only happens to them.

birth control also helps get rid of discharge and change how much comes out, and it also regulates your periods and makes them shorter and lighter.
i would talk to your mom/dad about it, because im sure your mom knows what the best solution is, im sure she went through the same thing!
