My name is Angel, and I love helping people. I'm anything but perfect, and I don't expect anyone else to be. I don't judge, and I don't try to make peoples choices for them. I simply try to help in the best way I can. I've been through some very good, and very bad times in my life. They have sculpted me into the beautiful mess you see before you today.
I'm here for anyone who needs anything I have to offer, so don't be afraid to ask, or vent. Whichever will help.

my homecoming dance is this saturday, and i am wearing my hair curly. i have medium lenght, layered, thin hair. and i think it's a little fried too. it gets REALLY frizzy under different circumstances , and it looks bad. i think that before the dance i am going to wash it with herbal essence's "none of your frizziness" shampoo and conditioner (although i use this every day and it doesn't really help) and then blow dry my hair, straighten it, and THEN curl it. i know that it's not good to use so much heat on my hair, but i have to because otherwise it gets even more frizzy if i don't straighten it/blow dry it. i tried this all out on my hair today, and affter i curled it, it was STILL frizzy on the top and the sides where i curled it. i mean i don't get it, i did everything i could, i even straightened before hand. is there anything i could do to make my hair not frizzy? getting new shampoo is not an option, but if there is a certain way i can curl it or put some type of thing in it that would help then i would like to know. but i don't want to put too much product in my hair to make it greasy, because my hair also gets greasy easily. usually after i curl i put a little bit of hairpsray in it, and since i'm a dancer i only have hardcore hairspray like aquanet and such. but i do it from far away and not put a lot. i know that this would probably make it more frizzy, but i have to use it because since my hair is thin the curls would come out in like 2 seconds. so if anyone could right things i could do to make my hair not frizzy or smoother after i curl it, or something to do or put in it, that would be great. thanks! I've been in your shoes all my life, now the best things for it is going to sound really nasty.

First thing tomorrow afternoon your going to need to get Two towels, saran wrap, and real mayonnaise.
Work the mayonnaise into your hair, starting by massaging it into the scalp and roots. Then draw it through to your ends until your hair is thoroughly coated. Pile the hair on top of your head. Take a couple of feet of saran wrap and wrap it around the top of your head to contain the mayo.

Take a pre-heated towel from the dryer and wrap it around your head over the saran wrap. The heat will aid with deep conditioning. After about 10 minutes, change to another heated towel and leave that on for another 10 minutes.
The rinse as usual-this is very important

OTHER TIPS BELOW
You need to wash, blowdry, and straighten early the day b4 the dance, sleep on it and curl it the next day. have you ever noticed that when your hair is oily it doesn't frizz as bad?

Some other things i do is soak my hands in hairspray once i'm done curling it and then smooth each curl indiviually

ten minutes later i use a dryer sheet like bounce or something. i just gently rub it down my hair.

then use some kind of finishing spray or shine.
