about

Hey whattsupp, my names Erin, but i sign E whenever I answer a question. I'm a sophmore in high school. I used to run, but strained my back and now i'm done. I love track so if you need any help in that I'm your girl! I'm love giving advice and helping people with their problems. I've been through so much in 15 years, that I can pretty much help anyone. Feel free to ask me anything I'd rather tell you that i don't know than give you a bad or wrong answer.
I love clothes so i'm best at answering questions about style or fashion. When I grow up I want to be either an actress or a fashion desighner. So these are my best subjects! Butt, I can help in pretty much all of them :). Please feel free to ask me anything, I'll ALWAYS answer to the best of my ability, and come on here as often as possible!

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read this.

At my school, we have two Improv teams: a Junior team and a Senior team. I am on the Senior team, and run the Junior as well as the Senior team with my friend. We organize practices, competitions, T-shirts and workshops- it's a lot of work, but I love it! Both teams participate in the Canadian Improv Games (CIG).

Anyway, we are tired of doing similar warm-ups/Improv games during practices. Does anyone have any suggestions as to some games we could play in order to have fun and raise the team's skill level?

Please don't recommend the following, as we already play/practice/perform these:

-Pop Up Book
-BANG
-Whoosh Whoosh Whoa!
-Cat and Mouse
-Life Event
-Story Event

I would appreciate all suggestions!

First of all, I don't know any of the names to these, so i'm not sure if they are the same as what you are saying or not, so sorry if they are. There is this one gemae that we played when i took an improv class. And it was like you had to tlak in all questions. It was really hard because you couldn't andven say No. why? ALl questions. For example, you name a random settin, umm.. the pizza parlor. What pizza place are we at? Didn't you choose this place? etc.

We also played this game where you had 3 people and code words like one was pie two was coffe three was chocolate

and you have a scene like a coffee shop and your sitting there talking and when someone says one of the code words (pie, coffee, chocolate) then they leave or come back. But the trick is that when you leave you have to mkae an excuse like oh, i have to go to the bathroom. And when you return be like woah, i needed that. If you don't get it then send me a personal question and i'll explain better.

Also, cheak out this site: http://improvencyclopedia.org/games/index.html

(Rating: 5) Thanks! We've played the first thing you described (we call it Questions) but the second thing we haven't, and it sounds great! I'll definitely use that next practice.
