So I just turned 16 yesterday.
and I've been dating my first boyfriend for a month now. I thought he was extremely cute when I first saw him, and now when we hangout I keep second guessing. And I shouldn't be, should I? We haven't kissed yet, and all of my friends insist he was trying to kiss me last night, and I think he was too. But I couldn't, and I don't think I wanted to. I don't know if I like the IDEA of having a boyfriend or if I actually LIKE him, and I'm so so confused! What do I do? And if I'm supposed to break up with him, how? (We work together. AND my sister works there too.)

okay the first thing you absolutely positively need to ask yourself is:

if he didn't like me right now, and we weren't dating, would i like him?

trust me don't make the same mistake i made to go out with a guy just to say you have a boyfriend. it hurts him and it doesn't make you feel any better about yourself.

if you realize that you don't like him anymore like that, then by all means break up with him and so both of you can go your separate ways. say that you like him more as a friend. honestly, just be truthful and although you may be distant for a while, stay friends. keep in touch and if you're friends then no worries about your job :)
