Hey, I have a tanning question...
Well I am absolutely in LOVE with self-tanners because I love seeing results quickly which is rare for my skin type. I also tan quite a bit in the summer (Don't worry, I practice safe sun :]). But my question is, If you already have a self tanner on, can you lay out and still get a tan? Or is it not possible for the UV rays to go through the dye?
**If you know the answer to this, great :] please let me know!
**If you want to critize me for tanning and give me a speech about how I'll get skin cancer blahblahblah... keep it to yourself, I don't care, that's not why I asked this question :]
Thanks Guys!!
Yeah you can still get a tan, the reason I know is because some of the tanning lotions for tanning salons have self tanners in them.
The Australian Gold line has some lotions with self tanners that work great (you don't turn orange at all) and you can use them outside as well as in tanning booths.
If you like seeing results quickly, I definately suggest you look into a tanning salon package. They normally start out at $20-$30 a month and you'll see faster results than in the sun because instead of the unfiltered rays you get outdoors which contain UVA and UVB rays, in the tanning beds you get concentrated UVB rays only. It makes you tan as quickly as possible. And if you combine that with a lotion containing a self tanner, you'll be on the fast track to a perfect tan. :)
(Rating: 5) good idea :)
