are the movie and book the same?

andddd is there a good spark notes type book for it?

1.) it seems as though the movie and the book are quite similar because the movie got 100% on rottentomatoes.com

2.) there should be a sparknotes for the grapes of wrath. go to your nearest bookstore. it's honestly that hard of a book to understand though. don't be intimidated by its length. i just read it a few days ago
