Im fifteen and Ive had a few boyfriends, just one or two in middle school, but Ive never kissed a guy.
But my two bestfriends, exfriend, and former crush have already lost their virginity. Theyve always said they thought that Id be the first to get a guy. Wrong!
Im usually a bit too optimistic and loove a really good hug. Haaha my "scene-esque" friends give THEE best! But I dont even curse, and Ive decided to get myself a purity ring :D
but I think Im pretty great.
Soo why dont guys wanna go for me?
My family has a big history of social disorders including agoraphobia, so I would never be willing to make the first move.
Thats a problem. How can I get over it?
First, don't worry about what everyone else is up to at the moment. Kids are moving faster and faster these days, and it's completely okay if you're not doing the same things. This is the age when some people are just getting their first kisses, and it'll happen when it's right. (:
It's not like you sound like a bad person or anything. You probably actually sound like someone guys would usually go for. Optimism is rare lately, and it's very good that you posess it! That's something the guys should really be going for.
There's nothing specific guys always go for. It's usually just that the good ones are taken, or you can't find the really good ones. They'll come around though. One recommendation would be to get a few good guy friends. Trusting a guy and being close to him before anything usually makes it easy to fall for him later on.
Just make sure you don't let your family's history hold you back! Phobias can sometimes be gotten over just by taking a risk and doing the very thing you're scared of. This could help you in getting over it. Sometimes, you can't wait around for a guy to make the first move because they're just as nervous at dating at that age as you probably are! Heck, a lot of chances could be lost by not actually making a move. This history could be well, history starting with you! If you see someone you're interested in, make sure you make an effort and make it obvious that you like them. If you're too nervous to actually ask them out, just hint around and they'll know to make the move.
Best of luck!
