i know that breaking up with someone you love is hard. especially for me.
well let me tell you about my relationship.
his name is josh. hes smart, sweet, and sensitive.
we been together for about 2 months or so. Although its been a very short relationship, i think that its time to say goodbye.
Josh moved to california about a month ago, and he is not coming back to hawaii for another year or so. and there is no way whatsoever that i can go to california due to expence.
the question is, i still like josh, but i dont want to have this kind of relationship. Everyone tells me that the worst way to break up with someone is in email, text, letter, or phone. but how else am i going to breakup with him. There is no way we can see each other, and i am NOT going to wait a year.
so what i am asking you is... How do i do this the nicest way possible??? I cant see him, and i want to break up. but yet, i still love him. So how would i break up with him? tips are welcomed:)

let me first say that I am sorry that he moved away. I know how hard it is to see someone you love move away, but I really admire you for knowing that the right thing to do is break up with him. I know it must have been a really hard decision for you to make. The best way to let him know is to just tell him. I know that you obviouslt don't have the best circumstances because you can't see him in person... but the over the phone is your next best option. Texts and emails are too impersonal because he can't hear your voice. another option is video chat.. if you have it? just tell him exactly what you wrote here... that you still love him, but it is just too hard because you are so far away.
