Nobody wears long dresses to prom at my school anymore. Is it too cheap looking?
Is it not formal/classy enough?

I am 5'8, 120 lbs, so I won't look too much worse than the model

It's not cheap looking as the others said, it just isn't the "prom look" the dress looks like you are on a night out with your friends.
i think you should go for something alittle bit dressier.
but good taste, that is a really cute dress.
