14/F

I dont know why, but my eyes have been red for the past three days.

They dont hurt, or feel dryed out. But theyr red.

I get enough sleep at night. (at least ten hours). I go to sleep at 2:30 ish and wake up at 12:30 ish. Give or take a few minutes.

I drink three bottles of water a day. (Somtimes more).

Ive been in the bahamas since friday.
w
I wear contact lenses.

Ive been wearing sunglasses somtimes, but not usually.

My question is, why are my eyes so red (Bloodshot)? And how do i fix it?

Ive tried putting drops in my eyes for my contacts.

Thanks so much!

Same happened to me but it tunred out that I was allergic to the place I was at - different nature, air and all that. My eyes were irritated.
When I went to the doctor's it turned out that because from where I'm coming from, I lived in the big city where there wasn't much nature so I never was allergic during the spring. Now, in the USA, I live in Bethesda, where the air is really pure and there are a lot of trees and flowers growing around. During the spring, they start flowering and the trees let off this green dusty thing (don't know what it is) and you can barely see it but it's killing me. My eyes start burning and it's like I haven't slept for days. They're just highly sensitive. What I was told, is that because I have lived my whole life in a different place where EVERYIONE is a smoker and it's more polluted ,my immune system never had to deal with the greeny thingy. They told me that because I'm going to be staying here, I'll just have to deal with it or something (take pills probably) and wait it out. Who knows, maybe after a couple of years I wouldn't be reacting to it that badly. Overall, it's just the change of the surroundings, you never know. Maybe you're reacting to something that you've never experienced where you live. It doesn't have to be that green dusty thingy I told you about. Hope you get better though :)
