Ok i'm 14 and have never had a real boyfriend. Now my best friend in the whole world has been doing stuff with guys since like 5th grade or something. Me on the other hand have only held hand with a guy once and it was extremely awkward because of the situation (long story). And it's not like i dont like guys or something cause i do. See i love her to death but she gets on my nerves alot because sometimes when were talking about her "guy problems" she gets all mad at me and says "well if you ever get a boyfriend you'll know thats it's difficult" now i understand relationships are difficult i like to think i'm not stupid but she always says stuff like that or "well if you'd get a boyfriend you'd know what i'm talking about" and i mean getting a boyfriend isnt that easy she makes it sound like you can just say hey your hott be my boyfriend or something well maybe for some people that works but not for me and it's not like i dont want a boyfriend but i have better things to do with my life first you see the fact that i'm 14 and never even had a boyfriends scares the crap out of me because i always think i'm going to end up alone and my friend saying stuff like that doesnt exactly help te situation but really i'm not like my friend i dont want to do "stuff" with a guy unless i'm "in love" you know i'm waiting for marriage and stuff like that i mean i more into the long time relationships not the date for a week kind of relationship and it's not like there anything wrong witht that but i'm not that kind of person i want true love anywho my questions are is my friend right to say stuff like that? Is she really even acting like a friend? Is something wrong me since i'm 14 and have not had a boyfriend?
haha noo there is nothing wrong with you. i'm 15 and yeah i've had boyfriends BUT i realised i never really liked any of them. it was basicly just a waste of time for me AND the guys. i recently broke up with my bf for the same reason. i just didnt feel a 'spark' and i admire you for not having a bf because you have the guts to say 'no i dont want one, and i want to wait until i find the right one' and yes youre totally right, you dont have to be together with a guy and do stuff just to prove yourself. that's just stupid! and come on youre only 14. youre still young and youre NOT going to die alone. you can worry about that when youre 30 and never had a bf. and yes, all of my friends also had boyfriends but they even admit that they where never in love with one of them. one of my friends started to give her bf a blowjob after going out for just one week, and another one wants to have sex, just because she's 16 and thinks thats THE age to loose your virginity. and isnt that just so dumb and childish? because YES i also think that you should be in a relationship with a guy you truely like and you shouldnt do 'stuff' just cos it's fun. you should do it cos i really like him and THAT'S the thing that makes it special. and if you havent found that guy yet its totally fine! and your additude is really good as well since life isnt all about boyfriends. that way you can focus on other stuff. i wish i would've done that, and now i'm also waiting until i find a guy i truely like, even if it takes a bit longer. and about your friend ...
you should have a long talk and explain to her that it makes you feel really bad that she always says those things. i for one always help my friends with their bf trouble even tho i dont have many experiences. yea i had boyfriends but i never gave anyone a blowjob or had sex cos i knew i didnt really fancy them.
and you dont have to have many experiences to help someone. you do it because she's your best friend! and it's actually a bit stupid to say that you dont know what she's talking about. obviously she doesnt know what YOURE talking about because she has no clue what it's like for you. and youre actually way more grown up and mature than she is!
so just think about that okai??
