i took a practice sat a couple of days ago and it was graded just like the sat's are and i got a 1510. is that good? average? bad? i really dont know
thanks:)
Depends, your Sat is sectioned into three different parts, Reading, Math, and Writing.
Each section is worth 800 points total if you get them all right, however colleges only look at your reading and math score, so you can have a total of 1600. if your score is just the score of those two, you are doing pretty well.
When you do take the actually Test, you are going to want to take it as many times as possible. the Second time is when you are most likely to do the best.
Make sure that you get up early and have a really good breakfast, and pack good healthy snacks, and go to bed early the night before. It truly makes a huge difference in your score
And know that Colleges take all the best scores from each section. so try studying for just the math for one time you take the SAT and really focus on that so you can get the highest math score on that test, and then focus on the other sections on the other SATs that you take.
