advice
I call myself a Christian but i dont go to church. I have been trying to get my mom to take me, but it seems we never have the time. I always feel guilty for this and i know im not agnostic. I really want to be a good Christian, and stay loyal to God. But i find myself always cursing, and always doubting him. Thanks for any advice! :]
I would have to say that, in the road of every single Christian, there will always be a time of doubt or a time where he will be unsure of his faith. However, this is not unconquerable.
I don't know whether you are a Catholic, but, there was a Saint that used to say that there are several ladders in sainthood. One of them talked about how one of them, one of the lower levels, is when a person believes in God almighty, wishes to improve every single moment of his life, but finds himself failing constantly. She (the saint) says that this is usually due to either (1)a lack of knowledge of the sins being committed, and (2) a lack of love for God.
My advice to you would be to pray. Again, I don't know whether you're Catholic or not, but St.John Paul II used to say that prayer is the sword of every Christian. Pray that you may find the strength to do everything in his will and let Him teach you along the way. And yet again not knowing if you're a Catholic, remember that it is simply essential to go to Mass every single day possible. It is so, not only because it will allow you not only to remove yourself from any false ideas and allow you to be more instructed in the ways of the faith, but because it will allow you to receive Christ and body and blood. "You shall eat my body and drink my blood, in memory of me".
I sincerely hope I was of some help to you.
